Sikaflex-1a

Sikaflex 1A is a polyurethane-based sealant and adhesive that can be used for many applications, including:

• Joints

Sikaflex 1A is designed for joints where the sealant depth is no more than 1/2 inch. It can be used for small joints and fillets, windows, door frames, reglets, flashing, and roofing details. 

• Submerged conditions

Sikaflex 1A can be used in submerged conditions, such as canal and reservoir joints. 

• Elastic adhesive

Sikaflex 1A can be used as an elastic adhesive between materials with different coefficients of expansion. 

• Damp concrete

Sikaflex 1A can be used in joints where concrete has only been placed for 24 hours or in damp concrete applications. 

Sikaflex 1A has many advantages, including:

• Resistance to aging and weathering
• Jet fuel resistant
• Non-staining 

Sikaflex 1A can be painted with water, oil, and rubber-based paints. However, compatibility and adhesion testing should be done with any type of oil and rubber based paints.
