Milcor Casings

This is a demo sheet JC Budding used to handout for Milcor Casings in the 1950s...
Milcor casings were lathing accessories manufactured by Milcor in the early 20th century. They were available in a variety of profiles, each with its own number. For example, Milcor casing bead number 66 has the same profile today as it did almost a century ago.
Since 1902, Milcor has been providing the building products industry with quality items. Milcor offers a wide array of access products, including, interior access doors, roof access hatches, floor & sidewalk doors, and heat & smoke vents. The ability to produce custom product to accommodate building owners and architects, allows Milcor to be a leader in the industry.
The primary function of a casing bead is to separate plaster from materials that are dissimilar. Casing beads are an integral part of the stucco panel edge joint, which is where the stucco begins, ends, and interfaces with other materials. The design and construction of the stucco panel edge condition can significantly impact the stucco cladding's performance, durability, and aesthetics
